I was Googling vegan restaurants to try out and I chanced upon Veggie King. Thank you, Google! Veggie King is a 100% vegetarian international buffet which includes a steamboat, all for below $30 per pax! Pricing can be seen here.
I came here on a weekend afternoon with my mom and sister and it was a very pleasant time spent with them :)

The variety is pretty impressive and I like that they put so much effort in the decoration of the restaurant! I came in October and they took the time to Halloween the place up.

There's a lovely salad bar.

Japanese food with 'Otah' sushi, Sweet corn with vegan mayo sushi etc.
It's amazing :)

There's also a really extensive fried food section with vegan nuggets and so much more! I mean, c'mon, where else can you get

What's great about the buffet is that they state whether something is vegan or not on their signs :)

My mom and I really enjoyed the fried rice. It's healthy since it's packed with various vegetables and they used brown rice. Plus, it's very delicious!

The Grilled Shitake is probably my favourite item at the buffet! The mushroom is grilled to perfection with just the right amount of salt. It's super tasty and I totally recommend this if you'r a fan of mushrooms.

Unfortunately, the pizza is vegetarian, not vegan, but my sister (who's a meat-eater) really enjoyed this :)


I went for the lunch buffet on a weekend and it includes a steamboat with a choice of 2 soup bases- so we chose the tom yam and 'chicken' soup base.


There's a bar for steamboat ingredients :)


They have a good dessert spread too. Unfortunately, there aren't many vegan options for the desserts because a lot of the cakes contain egg and/or milk.


The Agar Agar is vegan :)




They have ice-cream too! It's not vegan but they do have a mango sorbet which is vegan.

Feeling stuffed, content and blessed after the wonderful meal at Veggie King :)


In conclusion, this place is great! There aren't many vegan/vegetarian buffets in Singapore so I had to try it :) Lotus Vegetarian Restaurant, another veg buffet restaurant, has some competition now. And, oh boy, it's really tough competition.
But let's not compare, shall we? I feel so bad whenever I become such a critical customer HAHA.
I'm just thankful that there are more veg options popping up all around Singapore :)
