Himalayan Charcoal & British Rose Face Mask
September 26, 2016I'm no beauty guru or skincare expert, I'm just a really happy customer :)
From The Body Shop website:
Here at The Body Shop we've always been passionately against animal testing. We've never tested our products on animals. This means you can be sure that our products have not been tested on animals for cosmetic reasons.
Ahh, what a lovely company. On their USA website, they have a page for their 100% vegan products which is such a huge help :))I'm in love with the packaging of this product. I really love how The Body Shop markets itself. It's basic, aesthetic and most importantly cruelty free!
All of their products aren't tested on animals but these 2 face masks are actually 100% vegan because they don't contain any animal products in them!
YASSS!!
From The Body Shop website, this mask is said to be their 100% Vegan British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask, it's a refreshing gel-textured moisturising mask that nourishes and hydrates your skin.
It works to moisturise, soothe and tone the skin and it's best for skin that needs to be quenched and replumped with hydration.
So this mask is typically used to hydrate :)
It provides comfort with its aloe vera calming properties and freshly replenishes the skin's water reserves, while the petals provide the gentlest exfoliation!
This 100% Vegan Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask is a beautifying mud-textured exfoliating mask.
It promises to deeply cleanse and purify the skin. It works to clean clogged pores and release impurities and toxins which helps to reveal a healthy-looking, youthful glow.
Their key ingredients sound exotic in the best way possible too; Bamboo Charcoal from Himalayan foothills, Community Trade Tea Tree Oil from Kenya and Green Tea Leaves from Japan.
Sounds exquisite :)
If you ask me, I think this is my favourite mask out of the two which I got. The smell is really fresh :) When you put on the mask, your skin may tingle pretty strongly, maybe till the point it almost kind-of hurts but don't panic! It's just the mask working it's magic.
After leaving the mask on till it dries completely (maybe about 20 minutes), you can massage your face with water to exfoliate your skin :)
Can't wait to say hello to healthy, glowy, hydrated, dewy, moisturised, clear skin :)
That's all for this post, bye for now :)
