Innisfree Haul (Christmas 2014)

May 11, 2015

I care a lot about animals, that's the main reason why I'm vegan.
Being vegan is more than just your diet; it's a lifestyle. So I'm making it a point to stop buying animal-tested products. Ideally it would be best to buy products which have not been tested on animals and do not contain animal ingredients, but I'm still on the hunt for such products. If you know of any good vegan, cruelty free brands do comment down below :)
In the meantime, I've only found cruelty free items.
Just a reminder to myself and vegans out there: there's no need to bash yourself for not being a 'perfect' vegan. I think that the fact that you have empathy and compassion is commendable and awesome! And remember that veganism is a journey, not a destination :)
This was from Christmas last year, before I became vegan. I posted it on my old blog but my old blog is no longer available so I decided to move the post over here.
Innisfree is a Korean cosmetic and skincare brand which does not test on animals however, some of their products are not vegan as they contain certain animal ingredients.
Anyways, without further ado, this is my Innisfree haul!

I splurged on some things from Innisfree to pamper myself.
Can't say I'm proud of myself, but I definitely don't have any regrets.
This is kind-of like my Christmas present to myself.

So without further ado, here's what I got from Innisfree!

Pretty paper bag, very Christmas-y.

Overview:

Let's start with this pouch:
It's a free gift which customers are entitled to after spending a minimum of $50.  I think it's really practical and the design is really pretty.

Also got this small spatula to scoop a product out instead of using my finger which is a little (really) hygienic.

Also received a mask pack for joining the Innisfree membership!

Also received this:
Got this for free as well, not sure for what though. I think it's also part of the membership pack.
You know that moment when you get so many freebies, you don't know why? Not complaining though.

Also got this little exfoliator.

I saw this and wanted to try it out.
It's the Jeju Volcanic Black Head Balm which helps 'melt' blackheads, making it easier to remove.
I haven't tried it yet but when I do, I may make a review on it.

Next, I got this Christmas gift box!

It consists of:
This is pretty popular so I can't wait to try it!

That's all my loot from Innisfree.
If I have any strong feelings about any of the items, I'll do a review on it.
Thanks for reading, bye!
