A problem which a vegan in a non-vegan family experiences: eating out with family. 

I think most restaurants have vegan options though! Before I went vegan, Swenson's was one of my favourite places to eat. My family still often goes there to eat so I have made it a point to find something vegan in their (mostly cheese and meat) dominated menu.

I have found a few options for us vegans :)

Aglio Olio

A good ol' classic Aglio olio pasta is almost always vegan. Not the best Aglio olio but at least it's vegan.

The portion is pretty big and they are very generous with the fruity vinaigrette dressing. Not the best salad but I do love my greens :)

In conclusion, Swenson's is not a very vegan-friendly place. But if your family/friends insist on eating there and on you accompanying them, here are the choices that you have :)
