Vegan Picnic at Henderson Waves & National Gallery

January 21, 2016

What a wonderful world we live in!

Met up with my friends and headed to Henderson Waves :)

We then had lunch at one of the benches. All of us packed vegan food! I was really grateful and happy :))  We had grapes, apples, sushi, cookies, etc.
And everything was so so so delicious!!

We also had a little bird join our picnic.

We were completely surrounded by nature and it was so peaceful.

After marvelling nature's beauty, I felt like I was thrown into a totally different world at the National Gallery. Nonetheless, it was a very lovely museum with amazing architecture.

The artworks were very spectacular too.

There was this bubble exhibit which was super fun and interesting. I wonder what the meaning behind it is though.
Is it trying to show us how, no matter how old or mature we are, we'll still have that child in us who wants to play?
By satisfying our yearning to play, we made quite a mess. Is it trying to show us that curiosity is a double-edged sword?
Deep thoughts, deep thoughts.

Artwork, in general, is really abstract.

And there was this pole-dancing exhibit which was very intriguing! There was a tutorial by a man on an old television teaching us how to be exotic and showing us how to pole dance. It was quite hilarious.

That's all for this blog post, bye for now!! :)
